Morton's under-17 squad appears to be fully rejuvenated following the trials and tribulations of the last few years, with the team being crowned SFL champions with two games remaining.

After going 3-1 down against Hamilton in Sunday's league game, the 'Ton battled back to win 5-3. Fans reported that some real talent was present in the line-up; many were also impressed by the encouragement and tactical awareness of U-17 coach Joe Harkins, as well as youth co-ordinator Joe McLaughlin.

Perhaps the first team could take a note out of the U-17s' book; that note in particular reading "STOP BOTTLING OUR SEASON; YOU HAVE BOUNCEBACKABILITY, SO START USING IT."

Bouncebackability is the longest word in the English language.
