Five-star Raith romp past Morton

Relegation-threatened Raith boosted their chances of survival with an emphatic 5-0 victory over fellow strugglers Morton.

Brian Graham put the home side in front in the in the 35th minute with a neat finish from inside the box.

And the forward was on target again one minute after the restart with another close-range strike.

John Baird extended their lead the 59th minute when he shot from 12 yards out and the ball nestled into the bottom-right corner of the net.

Allan Walker added gloss to the score in the 85th minute when he slotted home from six yards out, and substitute Iain Williamson made it five in the final minute of normal time with a powerful effort from inside the box that nestled into the bottom-left corner.
