Smith winner lifts Rovers

Raith stretched their unbeaten league run to nine games with a last-gasp 2-1 win over Morton.

The in-form home side broke the deadlock a minute before the break when Jason Thomson's pass set up Kevin Moon.

They continued to create chances with Liam Fox heading over and Nicolas Caraux grabbing Grant Anderson's effort at the second attempt.

Morton, without a league win since August 10, then found an equaliser with 20 minutes remaining through the head of former Rangers striker Nacho Novo.

But deep into added time Gordon Smith found the bottom corner to earn Raith the points.
