Raith stay top of the table despite being held to a goalless draw by fifth-placed Morton at Cappielow Park.

It was Morton who had the league leaders on the back foot in the first half with Andrew McNeil having to tip Allan Jenkins` shot around the post.

Brian Graham`s long-range lob went just over the crossbar as the home side started to apply the pressure.

Raith had to wait 38 minutes to have their first shot on target, with Douglas Hill testing Kevin Cuthbert from 20 yards.

Morton had chances to win the game in the second half, but Peter Weatherson failed to direct his two shots on target.

Scott McBride almost stole the points in the final minute for Raith but his shot was straight at Cuthbert as both sides had to settle for a point.
