Gazza For Cappielow?

The Sunday Mail this morning reported that Paul Gascoigne, currently under "contract" at big-spending Boston United, would be interested in taking the Morton job on a player-manager basis. The bastion of fair and well-researched journalism also whispered that although Gazza was under contract, he's free to walk away without any compensation, and as a result DDF Rae wants Paul to "send his CV up."

It must be a slow news day at the Ministry of Information, because this sounds so unlikely on so many levels. Then again, if there's one thing Morton have proved over the last couple of seasons, it's that anything is possible. Except, perhaps, that a tabloid is proved right with a story as clearly idiotic as this one.
