Warren Hawke Returns From Scouting Mission

Last updated : 05 November 2004 By Nach0king
Warren Hawke's been using his injury-enforced Saturdays off for the forces of good - carrying out scouting missions for Morton.

The veteran striker told the Daily Record that watching Ayr United play Berwick a couple of weeks ago gave him a good insight into the Honest Mens' strengths and weaknesses. He went on to praise Jim McInally for his good work at the club so far, despite his minimal input before the victory over Berwick Rangers at Cappielow.

McInally will be looking to make a more authoratitve presence today against Ayr, presumably sticking with his favoured 4-4-2 formation, but having to select from a team depleted by injury (see linked article.)
