Ross County welcome back striker Michael Gardyne from suspension as manager Willie McStay makes his home debut against Morton. However, striker Paul Di Giacomo and wide-man Darren Smith remain out through knocks.
Morton look set to be without striker Peter Weatherson through a back injury for the trip.
Boss Allan Moore's options are reduced as on-loan Celtic youngster Sean Fitzharris has returned to Glasgow.
Ross County manager Willie McStay: "I had to wait three weeks for a game after being appointed and now I have two in the space of three days.
"All the games in this league are really tight and I would suspect that Morton at home will be exactly the same.
"The players worked incredibly hard in our draw at Partick at the weekend, but I identified a couple of areas that we need to work on, starting against Morton."
Morton manager Allan Moore: "If we tackle things in the same confident mood that we did against Dundee then we will do okay at Ross County.
"One thing we have to do is take any chances that come our way. That was the difference at the weekend.
"Dingwall is a hard place to go to, but we will be well up for it as we have a sense of injustice after a lot of bad luck against Dundee."
