Morton wait on Findlay
Morton manager Kenny Shiels is hoping to field on-loan defender Stuart Findlay against Queen of the South
However, Shiels may not have a choice as a suspension incurred playing for parent club Celtic in the Under-20 league could see him banned.
Shiels said: "We had thought that Stuart was free to play, however there is some confusion now. I want him in the team to help us build on a great result at Livingston."
The Greenock side released Jonathan Page, Thomas Peciar and Michal Habai this week and will again miss David O'Brien with a shoulder injury.
Queen of the South are seeking a third win of the season over their hosts and on-loan Motherwell striker Bob McHugh will make his debut if he shakes off a thigh injury.
The Dumfries side will be missing Andy Dowie with a groin injury and Derek Young following toe surgery.
Manager Jim McIntyre said: "Kenny Shiels has changed more than half of the Morton side and is getting a positive reaction from them so that makes them very difficult opponents.
"We have done well in our recent games and want to keep that going."
