Last time Conroy officiated a Morton fixture was at home to Forfar earlier this season. An inept display thankfully only produced three bookings, two of which were given to the men in blue and white: McCluskey and Williams felt the wrath of wee Steve that day. Last season, he took charge of Morton's 2-2 home draw with Dumbarton, as well as their 1-0 defeat at Methil in March. Bizarrely, he also took to the Cappielow pitch three days later, to officiate over a bad-tempered 2-2 draw with Alloa that saw five Wasps booked, as well as former Morton striker Phil Cannie.
