Yesterday, it was reported that an early pitch inspection would take place due to torrential rain in West Lothian. Livingston have had problems with their playing surface before, and were perhaps reluctant to risk the possibility of today's match chopping up the pitch and jeopardising future ties.
An interesting outcome of this disappointing postponement is that Morton and Livingston will go into Tuesday's tie knowing who their potential 4th round opponents are.
