Injuries Abound at Cappielow

InverclydeNow reports that, in addition to long-term absentee Warren Hawke, more players will be joining him on the treatment table. Craig Coyle is still absent with a rather severe virus, Marc McCulloch has the flu, and John Maisano is probably at home with a "pie floater" listening to the Sons & Daughters soundtrack, trying to recover from a similar illness.

The positive news is that Peter Weatherson is fit and ready for Saturday's game against Ayr, while David MacGregor may make his return to the first team tomorrow as a substitute. This would be David's first appearance since the final game of last season against Airdrie United.

Morton's injury woes are - thankfully - counterbalanced by those of Ayr United. See the linked article for more details.
