Forfar Game Date Announced

During the inclement weather of the festive season, our away tie at Forfar Athletic was called off rather late in the day, prompting much hilarity on various messageboards, and inconveniencing the 'Ton faithful to such an extent that many opted to watch St. Johnstone vs. St. Mirren, so as not to waste an entire football day. Desperate times called for desperate measures.

Thankfully, it seems unlikely that the frozen pitch antics of 2004 will be repeated this season: the away tie at Station Park against Forfar Athletic has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 1st at 7:30pm.

Station Park is named after the extraterrestrial scientist of the same name that appeared in "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey." The Loons have quite a few connections to that cinematic masterpiece, with the character 'Death' being played by Forfar's new signing, Ricky Waddell (pictured below with Keanu Reeves and That Other One.)
